on a late saturday afternoon, at a brocante in the place de lachambeaudie, by the little church and the old fire station, a small framed engraving of the eiffel tower wavers in the fading light...
[on the way home with us, great flocks of starlings swooped above in choreographed abandon and further along the real tour eiffel obliterates the night sky with a million of its own starbursts...]
